Town Protective roles are well 'sought after' by the Mafia, so if you're an Arsonist or a Jester, even if you claim it and the potential other Town Protective doesn't counter the claim, you might be screwed by the Mafia.If you're suspected, especially in All Any, note that the investigative result is 2/4 evil, so you might very well be lynched. ![]() There's only one Town Protective slot in Ranked and Ranked Practice, so if another Town Protective claims it, the Town may lynch you without any leads.The role is harder to confirm and has a worse investigative result than a Doctor so by reverse psychology, others may be inclined to believe you more, thinking if you were evil, you wouldn't claim Bodyguard over another Town Protective.Note this strategy will buy you time but usually does not help for more then a few days. Most Townies will not lynch a Town Protective early game, so this is a solid role to claim early game if you are called out strongly and feel you must do something drastic to stop from getting lynched.This role has a bulletproof vest, so you can claim accordingly if you have been attacked and found to have defense.This role is a Town Protective role, so players should be more reluctant to lynch you.This is also the investigative result an Investigator gets if their target was Doused either the same night the Investigator investigated said target or they were Doused before the Investigator investigated them. For example, a Sheriff can immediately find a member of the Mafia other than the Godfather (and any Mafia member with the correct Disguise) and can instantly find a member of the Coven other than one wielding the Necronomicon.
